Ownership snapshot

Confirm the exact variant, track-suspension equipment and recall status by VIN. An AMR Pro, racing Valkyrie and road-going Valkyrie are not interchangeable service or recall targets.

Valkyrie fuse-box closing-panel screws and wiring

Incorrect-length rear fuse-box closing-panel screws can clash with the internal wiring harness on affected Valkyries, risking loss of electrical functions, heat damage and fire.

MY2024 in the US report; production 1 May 2024–18 April 2025. VIN range SCF4KRB47RGS70008–SCF4KRC44RGS80042 is explicitly non-sequential: not every VIN between the endpoints is affected. The report also describes vehicles outside the US; verify individual VIN and market.

Driveability
Electrical loss or heat damage can affect safe operation. Stop safely if functions fail or smoke is present and obtain authorised assistance.
DIY or specialist
Authorised dealer recall work; not a DIY repair.

Early warning signs

  • Possible loss of electrical power or vehicle functions
  • Heat damage, smoke or an unpleasant smell from the engine area

Likely root causes

  • Screws longer than the intended design can interfere with the fuse-box wiring harness.

Typical cost context

  • The published recall remedy is free of charge for affected vehicles. Confirm VIN and market applicability; unrelated repair costs are not estimated here.

Prevention

  • Check the VIN and campaign completion with an authorised Aston Martin dealer.
  • The dealer replaces the fuse-box closing-panel screws and any damaged components as necessary, free of charge. Obtain VIN-specific confirmation that the campaign has been completed.

Valkyrie track-suspension brake master cylinders

Certain MY2024 road-going Valkyries with the track suspension pack can retain pressure in a diagonal brake circuit under a specific combination of track-driving and ESP conditions, overheating the brakes and potentially igniting a rear brake cooling duct.

The US report identifies seven MY2024 Valkyries with track suspension, produced 19 December 2023–20 December 2024. No sequential VIN range is supplied. Check the VIN and installed suspension pack with Aston Martin; do not apply this record to AMR Pro or competition cars.

Driveability
The report confines the triggering combination to a track environment. Do not use the car on track until the dealer has confirmed safe use and the required campaign work; ask for vehicle-specific instructions.
DIY or specialist
Authorised dealer recall work; not a DIY repair.

Early warning signs

  • Dragging brakes and changed pedal feel after a pressure-latch event
  • The report states no visual instrument-cluster warning is provided

Likely root causes

  • The original master-cylinder seal can deform when ESP/traction-control interventions and pedal application occur together under the combination of track conditions detailed in the report.

Typical cost context

  • The published recall remedy is free of charge for affected vehicles. Confirm VIN and market applicability; unrelated repair costs are not estimated here.

Prevention

  • Check the VIN and campaign completion with an authorised Aston Martin dealer.
  • Aston Martin will replace the brake master cylinders with a revised design, free of charge. As reviewed on 7 October 2026, the reported remedy-owner notification window is November 2026 (5–26 November); this is a planned window, not confirmation that the remedy is available or fitted. Confirm current availability and driving restrictions with the dealer.

Severity reflects potential impact, not fault frequency. Diagnosis and regional labour rates affect the final repair cost.

Sources and research

Research reviewed on 7 October 2026. Manufacturer announcements establish specification, not fault frequency or the condition of an individual car. Public registry coverage is incomplete for several model/year queries. Confirm market, VIN and current dealer documentation.

Frequently asked questions

Does an empty list mean there are no known faults?

No. It means no model-specific issue has been documented in this guide at the review date. Low production, limited reporting and incomplete registry coverage can all limit the available evidence.

How do I establish recall applicability?

Ask an authorised dealer to check the exact VIN, market and installed equipment, and confirm completed work. Model-year or VIN-range information alone is not a substitute for that check.
