VIN applicability: Refer to the separately published affected-VIN list. The factory action identifies certain vehicles built from March to December 2024, or updated under SA/QN-30-1994 from October 2024.

Years beside model names identify production generations, not confirmed affected years. For a specific car, confirm the VIN with Aston Martin or an authorised specialist. Do not assume every vehicle in the model family is affected.

Aston Martin's repair

Check the HU24 head-unit software. The factory action requires software 911.29.10 or higher. Eligible vehicles can receive an over-the-air update; vehicles without the required earlier software must return to a dealer for the USB update. Confirm the applicable route with an Aston Martin dealer.

Confirmed factory information

The document record below was checked against the named source. Aston Martin is the publisher of the factory document.

NHTSA campaign 25V001000 lists certain US-market 2024-2025 DB12 and 2025 Vantage vehicles. The factory action is addressed to all US dealers; applicability in other markets needs dealer confirmation.

The six-page factory PDF is preserved unchanged. It also covers DBX707; this catalogue addition is scoped to DB12 and the latest Vantage.

The action distinguishes OTA-capable vehicles built September to December 2024, or previously updated under QN/SA-30-1994, from vehicles built March to September that require a dealer USB update unless that earlier action has been completed. Verify eligibility by VIN and installed software, especially around the September boundary.

Dealer software updating requires AMDSII, factory software, coding, and suitable battery support. This catalogue summary is not a substitute for the workshop procedure.
